Bathurst vets golf report for game played at Cowra on Monday September 8 

Hi everyone,

There was not vets golf at Bathurst golf club due to the coring of the greens but that didn’t stop a group of 19 very keen Bathurst vets from going to Cowra golf course and do what they like to do best on Monday, and that is play golf.

We can’t go any further on the report without giving a great vote of thanks to Cowra professional James Hundy for his cordial welcome and assistance throughout the day in organising the game for us. We must also mention the very generous prizes for the comp winners provided by James.

On to results.

Today’s winner was David Gates with 34 points. Second was Geoff Marshall with 33 points and Peter Chaffey got third by winning a countback from Manuel Pro with both on  32 points.
