Bathurst Golf Vets report for Monday November 24

Hi everyone

A good field of 37 Bathurst Golf Club vets took to the golf course for another round of Monday vets’ golf.

A 40 cm nearest to the pin shot on the eight-hole with a resulting birdie and three more pars on the back nine helped Leo Attard put together the best result of the day with an excellent score of 40 points to take out today’s first place.

Graham Lee has continued his good form by taking out second place with 36 points.

A  count back was needed  to determine third and fourth place when Bob Lockhart and Bill Dickie returned scores of 35 points. The computer gave Bob third place and Bill had to settle for the fourth-place prize.

The ball sweep went down to 32 points on a countback and the nearest to the pin winners were Alex Balckett on the 4th, Leo Attard on the 8th, Paul Rosconi on the 13th and Peter Warren on the 16th.
