Bathurst Golf vets report for game played Monday July 28
Hi everyone,
You would have to be very keen about golf or a Bathurst member of the vets’ group otherwise, why would anyone play golf on a miserable day like today. It was cold, wet, windy and some snow thrown in and yet 13 Bathurst vet golfers showed up for their game of Bathurst vets’ golf. What else is there to do on Mondays?
On to results
Best on the day was Dale Salter with an excellent score, given the conditions, of 34 points. Dale started off like a house on fire with 19 points on the front nine, but he must have run out of wood, or the cold got to him on the back nine scoring only 15 points. Under the day’s conditions 34 points was a fantastic score.
Due to the low numbers only one prize given out today
The ball sweep went down to 28 points on a countback and the nearest to the pin winners were Paul Rosconi on the 8th and Ted Dell on the 13th. No one hit the greens on the 4th or the 16th.
