Neil Larcombe showing his form to win the nearest to the pin on the 13th hole
Bathurst golf vets game report for April 28
Hi everyone,
Some housekeeping to start with.
From this week, balls won on the ball sweep and the nearest to the pin will be given a value of $5 which will be credited to your Proshop account, and you will be able to use them to purchase goods from the Proshop. This is the same system we currently have with the winning vouchers.
You will still be able to collect your previously won balls as usual from the ball’s box.
On to Golf results.
Why was the course so hard today? This is the first time ever that no one was able to play to their handicap with 32 points being the winning score. John Zugajev and Arthur Clancy were the only two players able to achieve that goal sharing first and second place between them.
The ball sweep went down to 29 points and the nearest to the pins went to Stephen Ousby on the 4th, Bill Lambert on the 8th, Neil Larcombe on the 13th (Neil had his name down on two other greens) and Trevor Cameron on the 16th.
