Bathurst Golf Vets report for Monday December 4

Hi everyone,

A field of 48 Bathurst vet golfers, our biggest field this year, enjoyed a very pleasant day of golf at the Bathurst golf club. A very good day enjoyed by all specially if you also played well.

Some housekeeping before results

The annual membership fee of $15 is due on December 11. The fee provides membership to the Central West Vets and NSW vets associations which give you playing rights to any vets competitions run by associated clubs. Ladies who are members of the NSW Ladies vets do not have to pay the membership fee unless they want to take part in tournaments organised by the NSW vets such us Weeks of Golf.

The $15 membership fee must be paid by every Bathurst golf member so that we can continue to enjoy the privilege of playing in our own comp on Mondays.

On to results.

Due to the big field, we will give out 6 winning vouchers.

Graham Lee was the winner on the day with an excellent 39 points. Second was Peter Heffernan with 36 points. Garry Giddings, Jody Parker, Bill Lambert, Dick O’Donnell and David Travis all returned scores of 35 points but with only four vouchers left it was David Travis who missed out on a countback.

The ball sweep went down to 30 points and the nearest to the pin winners were Garry Giddings on the 4th, David Bromhead on the 8th, Neville McMichael on the 13th and Darren Healey on the 16th.
