Bathurst Golf vets’ results for Monday July 21
Hi everyone,
I have said it many times before and I would say it again, if you done bring your A game to vets on Mondays you are not going to get on the podium to win a prize and so it was today.
We only had a small field of 24 players, but you still had to play well above your handicap to win a prize voucher
On to results
Paul Rosconi was the best player on the field with an excellent score of 41 points. Paul played solid golf on the first nine for 19 points and brought it all the way home with a staggering 22 points on the back nine that included 10 points in the last three holes with a par on the 16th, a birdie on the 17th and a bogie on the18th.
Not far behind for second spot was Geoff Coleman with a score of 39 points. Geoff had an excellent front nine for 22 points, but he faltered on the back nine for only 17 points.
The ball sweep went down to 31 points on a countback and the nearest to the pin winners were Colin Jamieson on the 4th, Darrell Bourke on the 8th, and Peter Chaffey on the 13th. No names were down on the 16th.
