Bathurst Golf Club vets enjoying a quite one after the game

Bathurst Golf Vets result for game played on Monday October 12

Hi everyone,

A reminder that you can collect trophies and balls won in the Central West vets’ game played at Bathurst when you play the next Central West vets’ game.

On to today’s game

We had 28 vets playing in today’s comp which was a little on the low side due to a big group of vets that went to play the Central West Vets game at Oberon. However, that didn’t deter the quality of the golf with players needing to score 35 points to be considered for a ball on the ball sweep.

Today’s winner was Colin Jamieson with an excellent score of 41 points. Colin started off like a house on fire with 20 points on the front nine and continued on with a further 21 points on the back nine.

Second place went to Leo Attard on a count back from Garry Pomeroy with both having scores of 38 points. Leo’s 19 points on the back nine to Garry’s 18 points gave him the bragging rights for second place with Garry settling for third.
The ball sweep went down to 35 points on a countback and I have to apologise for not been able to announce the nearest to the pin winners as I was too late returning from Oberon to collected them.
