Bathurst Golf Vets results for game played Monday July 27

HI everyone 

Another very good day of Bathurst vets Mondays’ golf with 46 players including six ladies taking part in the comp.

Best on the day was James Browning with an excellent score of 42 points. James played solid golf throughout with 21 points on the first nine holes followed with another 21 points on the back nine.

A count back was required to decide second and third place when Michelle Kingham and Eric Denholm both returned scores of 39 points. Eric started off brilliantly with 21 points on the front nine and a solid 18 points on the back nine. Michelle started off slowly with 17 points on the front nine and came home with a wet sail on the back nine to win the second-place countback with 22 points. Eric settled for third.

Fourth place went to John Fagan with 38 points and Geoff Marshall took out the fifth place with 37 points.

The ball sweep went down to 32 points; Don Hinks was the lucky last ball winner. The nearest to the pin winners were Jim Browning on the 4th, Paul Rosconi on the 8th, Martin Everett on the 13th and Bill Lambert on the 16th.
