Bathurst Golf vets’ results for game played Monday August 24
Hi everyone,
We have been experiencing very consistent fields for the Monday vets’ competitions and today was not different with 38 Bathurst vets showing up for a game of Monday vets’ golf.
On to golf results.
When someone wins the comp at a canter and takes home three nearest to the pin trophies you could safely say that they had a good day and that is something that Chris Hadson would agree with. Yes, Chris won todays’ comp with 38 points and took out the nearest to the pin on the 4th, 8th and 16th holes. He will agree that he has had a good day.
The leftovers were shared by Bill Dickie when he took out second place on a count back with John Zugajev taking out third place with both having 35 points.
Rose Edwards took out fourth place on a countback from Bob Lockhart, Neil Larcombe and Leo Attard with all scoring 34 points. Rose’s 20 points on the back nine got her the last prize with Bob, Neil and Leo having to settle for a ball on the ball sweep.
The ball sweep went down to 31 points. Andrew Short was the lucky last ball winner and the nearest to the pin prize that Chris Hadson didn’t win which was the 13th, went to Murray Jewkes.
