Bathurst Golf vets’ results for Monday April 20
Hi everyone,
Another good field of 48 players enjoyed a game of vets golf at Bathurst golf club today. The weather was good and so was the scoring with players having to play well above their handicap to get a podium prize.
Best on the day was Paul Rosconi with a very good score of 40 points but he had to survive a countback before getting first place when Jon Manton also returned a score of 40 points. Paul’s 23 points to Jon’s 21 points on the back nine got him over the line.
Third was Darrell Bourke with 38 points. I got a sneaky suspicion that he was doing some practice during his last week’s trip up the coast.
Neil Larcombe was fourth whit 37 points and Bill Dickie took out 5th place on a countback from David Galvin and Glenn Hope all with 36 points.
The ball sweep went down to 32 points on a countback and the nearest to the pin winners were David Galvin on the 4th, Geoff Coleman on the 8th, Danny Gooley on the 13th and Darrell Bourke on the 16th.
