Bathurst Vets golf report for Monday, May 15

Hi everyone,

A very good field of 38 Bathurst veteran golfers enjoyed a round of golf at Bathurst golf course.

It was another cracker of an Autunm day that encourage good scoring and so it was for players in B grade showing the field how to score well.

Best of all in B grade was Bruce Walker who took out first place with 40 points, David Gates took out second place with 39 points and Arthur Clancy round up third place with 37 points.

The best player in A grade was Ash Lamb with a score of 34 points, second was Martin Meredith with 33 points and the ever-consistent Andre Schuster was third with 32 points.

The ball sweep went down to 30 points. The nearest to the pin winners were Ash Lamb on the 4th, Martin Meredith on the 8th, David Travis on the 13th and Trevor Kingham on the 16th.

Don’t forget to collect your winning vouchers and balls next time you play vet’s.

Next game of Central West vets will be on Monday May 22. The cost for the day will be $30 which will include coffee and a biscuit on arrival and a light lunch after the game.

We will be expecting big field so get your name down early.
